Refund, Service & Limited Liability Policy

At CleanFoldz Laundry, we are committed to providing professional garment care with transparency, consistency, and fairness. While every garment is handled with utmost care, laundry and dry-cleaning services involve inherent risks associated with fabric characteristics, dyes, embellishments, and garment condition.

The following policy outlines the terms governing our services, customer responsibilities, and our limited liability.

1. Garment Care & Cleaning Process

Every garment is processed using industry-standard cleaning methods and appropriate care practices wherever possible. While we strive to achieve the best possible cleaning results, customers acknowledge that:

• Complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed.
• Care labels are followed wherever reasonably possible.
• Certain stains, fabric conditions, and pre-existing damage may limit cleaning results.

2. Fabric & Garment Risks

Cleaning garments inherently involves certain risks beyond our control. CleanFoldz shall not be responsible for:

• Colour fading or colour running.
• Fabric shrinkage or stretching.
• Damage to embellishments, embroidery, sequins, beads, buttons, prints, or decorative elements.
• Weakening of fabric due to age, wear, prior damage, or manufacturer defects.
• Any other changes arising from the inherent nature or condition of the garment.

3. Collection of Garments

Customers are requested to collect their garments within 15 days from the scheduled delivery or collection date.

CleanFoldz shall not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from garments remaining uncollected beyond this period.

4. Service Complaints

Any concerns regarding garment condition, cleaning quality, missing items, or service must be reported within 21 days from the date of delivery.

Complaints received after 21 days may not be accepted for investigation or resolution.

5. Damage, Reimbursement & Limited Liability

While every reasonable care is taken during processing, if a garment is demonstrably damaged due solely to the gross negligence of CleanFoldz Laundry, we may, at our sole discretion:

• Repair the garment wherever reasonably possible; or
• Offer fair reimbursement based on:
  • Garment age,
  • Current condition,
  • Purchase proof (where available), and
  • Reasonable depreciation.

Under no circumstances shall our liability exceed five (5) times the applicable cleaning charges or ₹2,000 (Rupees Two Thousand), whichever is lower.

Repair or reimbursement under this clause shall constitute the customer's sole and exclusive remedy.

6. Force Majeure

CleanFoldz shall not be liable for any loss, delay, or damage caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Fire
• Flood
• Natural disasters
• Theft
• Government actions
• Civil disturbances
• Power failures
• Other unforeseen circumstances

7. Right to Refuse Service

CleanFoldz reserves the right to refuse acceptance or processing of any item, including but not limited to:

• Heavily soiled garments
• Hazardous or contaminated items
• Garments posing health or safety risks
• Items that may damage equipment or other customers' garments
• Articles that cannot reasonably be processed using our standard cleaning methods

8. Customer Acknowledgement

By submitting garments for cleaning, customers acknowledge that professional laundry and dry-cleaning services involve inherent risks such as shrinkage, fading, colour bleeding, fabric weakening, and other changes that may occur despite reasonable care.

Except in cases of proven gross negligence by CleanFoldz Laundry, customers agree that CleanFoldz shall not be held liable for such outcomes.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
